Stedman Graham Releases New Book: Who Are You? A Success Process for Building Your Life's Foundation
CHICAGO- Stedman Graham, author, educator and entrepreneur has recently released his latest book entitled, Who Are You? A Success Process for Building Your Life's Foundation (Hay House, 2005). In the book, Graham shares his personal story and defines knowing who you are as being comfortable with yourself and your surroundings, connecting to what's real and being able to feel your authenticity, looking past labels and having clarity about your life and your possibilities. Most of us take years trying to figure out just who we are, but too many of us will never find out. If we fail to define ourselves, we risk being defined by the world we live in. We allow others to define us–by our race, our gender, our background, our environment. We buy into the labels that keep us in a box, and as a result of these limitations, we may never realize our greatest potential.
"Discovering who you are is a lifelong pursuit, and you have the potential to increase your personal growth every day, " says Graham. "Each of us is a work in progress no matter what stage of life you are in."
There is no shortcut to a meaningful life, though there is a roadmap. Who Are You? is a navigation tool that provides a process for self-discovery and defining your vision for your personal and professional success. It helps you t align yourself with the resources to define your vision of success and make it a reality.

New York Times Bestselling Author, Stedman Graham speaks honestly and directly to teens in his new book, "Move Without The Ball: Put Your Skills and Magic to Work For You"
New York Times bestselling author Stedman Graham, founder of Athletes Against Drug (AAD), returns with a down-to-earth, inspirational guide that encourages teens to stay in school, work harder at their studies, and focus their energies into building their futures.
As an educator, entrepreneur and author, Graham has impacted the lives of men and women from all walks of life through his systematic approach to achieving personal and professional success. In MOVE WITHOUT THE BALL: Put Your Skills and Magic to Work for You (A Fireside Original / Simon & Schuster; August 2004; $15.00; ISBN: 0-7432-3440-5) Graham uses sports as a metaphor for life and encourages young athletes to look beyond professional sports as their sole means of economic mobility. He gives students—athletes and non-athletes—who don’t fully value themselves and their education the motivation and the inspiration not only to focus on the important things, but to take positive, concrete steps to reach their goals.
“Move Without The Ball” is Stedman’s catchphrase to young people to look beyond their current situation, their current routine, even beyond their current goals, to see new possibilities. With his trademark charisma and compassion, Graham offers cautionary and hope-inspiring real-life stories from both his own life and through profiles of professional athletes with different backgrounds and life experiences (e.g., Serena Williams, Mia Hamm, Wayne Gretzky, Kevin Johnson, Greg Norman, Byron Russell, Alex Rodriguez). They share how their vision and commitment to self-development led not only to their success in sports, but also served them well as they embarked upon career opportunities beyond the playing field.
Encouraging young men and women to recognize and fulfill their potential, whatever path they decide to pursue, MOVE WITHOUT THE BALL will help young men and women build self-confidence, self-discipline, and determination, along with an understanding of their own abilities, talents, and values. With Stedman Graham to guide and encourage them, teens will find and follow their own road to success--with conviction, perseverance, and pride.
Stedman Graham, author of the New York Times bestsellers You Can Make It Happen and Teens Can Make It Happen, is the chairman and CEO of S. Graham and Associates, a management and marketing consulting firm. He is also the founder of Athletes Against Drugs, a nonprofit organization that fights substance abuse and promotes youth leadership. An adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago, he lives in Chicago.
